Overall outdoor enthusiast, Ian began climbing in 1998 and he immediately got hooked on all aspects of the sport. In 2002 he founded EscaladeQuebec.com, a website dedicated to climbers and their obsession for void. Climbing got him abroad to places in North and South America, Europe, India, the Karakoram and even on K2. Since 2004 he has been writing on a regular basis for Espaces magazine in Quebec. These days, Ian climbs, hikes, sea kayaks, and plays outside as much as he can!
